The power of habit doesn't really fit into that. He does make the point that you can use this to tackle one time behaviors. There was a story in this section which i thought really exemplified a way that this could work as a routine. So if you use this as your jumping off point and then come back over to atomic habits once you get through this to put the broaderpict r of the routine base pieces in place, i can see a pretty powerful set up there.
