The whole concept of having the like active mode of that bar float above the bottom area of the screen I think is a design failure which can be very easily remedied make it a toolbar tool bars go all the way across and they have a point five pixel border on top and then a tiny little drop shadow on top of that so they stand out from the content. It's serving no purpose whatsoever for us to see what is behind that bar at that moment because again it's covered in a giant drop show you can only see a couple words of it anyway and it's an it's cluttered and unreadable.
