Animism and the Microbial World

Everybody from the dawn of mankind has had a really intimate established functioning relationship with the microbial world and my ancestors almost certainly didn't tell stories about bacteria or viruses maybe mushrooms but they still knew that there was something there. It's always been there and then somewhere along the way we lost it you know we kind of detached from it people much more other me can talk about how that happened. But this kind of reconnection and shifting the regard for the microbial world can be really valuable for folks who are in relationships with viruses or bacteria that are actively harming them.
