Moore's History of the Reformation
Thomas Moore was a supporter of Henry VIII's first queen, Catherine. He resigned as chancellor over the king's moves to put the church under royal authority. In his service, Moore became an implacable enemy of Protestantism. For this, Moore was incarcerated and ultimately put to death on July 6, 1535.
