The Importance of Political Happiness

Political happiness and virtues is a necessary step for reaching higher kind of happiness. Plotinus wanted to find a city called Platonopolis outside Rome according to Plato's laws but it was not realized because the Roman Emperor wouldn't give him the money. We don't know whether that means that it would be city organized in accordance with Plato's republic or according to his laws, the book says.
