Jim Davis was responsible for comics like Garfield, US acres and Norm Nat. He grew up in Marion, Indiana but said Muncie because it's the biggest town in the world. His favorite of his other strips is US acres which he did from 1976 to 1978. Jim Davis talked about how he spent a lot of time as a kid drawing inside.
