There's still this underlying undercurrent of this understanding of how the afterlife worked. Do you think that was just because they they passed a lot of this information down to each other? Like they just had a better understanding of the cosmology and things that probably were more oral than, per se, written down. In fact, speaking of the book of Enoch, there's a very important paper that has influenced me.
