Is There a Fixation on Inequality?
I worry about this sort of fixation on inequality. People are born with natural abilities where they are more talented than other people. The ability of people freely to transact has to be constrained by principles of background justice, he says. If it really is true that the use of talent and innovation makes everyone better off, then we're hitting in the right direction from Ross's point of view.
