A montage is helpful when there's not a lot of sound bites, but if the montage is too long and it can be boring. A lot of this is the production did everything for you to make your job as creative as possible. There wasn't many limitations and there wasn't particularly like problems that you were forced to solve. It's like you were given a lot of ammunition for you to have the full control of what you wanted to be best for the video.
