The Benefits of Tourism

I think a certain amount of tourism to a place can be beneficial, you know, can help the local economy. I saw this on the Camino de Santiago in Spain where some of these tiny towns had no economy and without that little bit of tourism, they probably would not survive. So there's a point where it becomes too much, right? The dose is wrong. It becomes an overdose. And then it's no longer beneficial, becomes destructive. But we used to live in Kyoto. It already had a lot of tourism when we lived here, say five years ago, but now it is too much.
