The Borgesian Twist to the Alif

I want to bring up a possibility that I don't think I've ever encountered before here which is that he suggests what he saw was not the true alif. To say that it might have errors in it's like what he saw isn't really real and that somewhere the real gods I view copy or whatever vision exists. So maybe that happens again when you look at the alif inside the alif and it just keeps going on. After how many permutations of this do you get down into some sort of crazy mutated freak world?
