A nuclear plant had to be shut down one time when mice chewed through some wires. I'm kind of fascinated by the problem of urban rats, and I had a rat guy on the podcast a little while ago. He claims that something like 20% of urban fires can be attributable one way or another to rats because they build nets near warm transformers. And yet no one talks about the economic necessity of eradicating rodent madness.
