The Ghost Orchid
The climax of this book is her not seeing a ghost orchid. She's in there but mostly as a body with eyes that you see through. I think the most interesting parts of the book for me were just stuff about orchids and orchid subculture because it's all pretty wild. These very persnickety flowers that are endlessly sort of mutatable.
