The Importance of Non-Equilibrium in Climate Change
The way I view the feedback mechanisms like the ice sheet and like the vapor is that they're smoother in a way there's something about the permafrost that just feels like it's just like you just get a big burst of it. No it's not irrelevant but it's one of many factors that are causing the carbon cycle to change or causing the hydrological cycle to change. How detrimental for example I'm pretty ignorant on this subject but that's why I don't really go out and pontificate on it. The fundamental issue when you have a complex system is that pretty much anything you change eventually kind of feeds back causes its extent.
