Paul describes faith as the opposite of the law, but as the law. He says that a man is justified by faith, made right by faith without the deeds of the law. The difference between the law of faith and the law of works is that the law of work allows what he calls boasting. Boasting is claiming that you have earned or deserved something. Paul: "The law of faith excludes boasting"
