Redundancy Is Not a Bad Thing in Language
We do our best to make sense when things are mismatching. But sometimes we can just completely fail, which can be used for comedy purposes and so on. So redundancy is not a bad thing. For example, we think that redundancy was key to getting language going. Let us lead to an explosion in the kind of meanings we could create through metaphor.
