Pros and Cons of the Holy War
Cons: How does this chapter resemble earlier scriptural accounts of holy war? Can you think of similarities with any specific stories? John, chapter three, verses 22. 36 after this, jesus and his disciples went into the judean countryside,. He remained there with them and was baptizing. For john had not yet been put in prison. There is perhaps a contrast to be drawn between john's clear and powerful witness and nicodemus, a teacher of the jews who none less failed to perceive who jesus was and what israel needed.
