10,000 survivors made their way to Dr. Sasaki's hospital while only 600 beds were available. The floors were covered in blood, vomit and sloughed off skin. By the end of it, he only took one hour of sleep during those first three days. He slept for 17 hours straight once he was finally forced to go home.
