What Is Cluster Linking?

cluster linking is different than the way kind of mirror maker and replicator work in that it actually doesn't use the connect framework. It leverages sort of the inner broker replication protocol that Kafka uses for moving data between leaders and followers. Cluster linking only supports running against a source cluster of Apache Kafka version 2.4 and above. The destination cluster needs to be confluent platform 7.0 for a general availability.
