I'm excited to hear your perspective on why it was so important at that time. Almost immediately after Ultima launched despite their effort to kind of control the economy in a walled garden items from the game started popping up for sale on things like eBay. You were seeing powered up swords going for hundreds of dollars you know in-world real estate was being sold for thousands of dollars gold farming for profit which is something we've seen evolve over the last 20 years.
