The Importance of Openness in Product Management
At netscape it was a very open and collaborative process everybody has a voice. There not a lot of formal planning meetings and that sort of thing essentially we were moving so insanely fast. We would have these impromptu meetings when we hit particular roadblocks that would discuss the issue and try to really ring it out and then just move forward. It's usually more cordial than that come up with an idea and then you know you start implementing it right away. The advantage that we had was that we had all been there at the very beginning and had spent years working on the web so we had we had all this experience already and we're able to make experience decisions quickly which led to possibly certainly
