How Do You Teach Your Child About ADHD?

Teach your child about dopamine and the prefrontal cortex so they can begin that process of advocating for themselves. To talk with kids about ADHD is always good, and to make it age appropriate, right? Can you talk with a four year old about ADHD? Sure. For the most part, what I find though is that until your child gets to about middle school age, anything too detailed in terms of brain functioning is maybe not going to be helpful.
