The fastest way to get rich is to go slow. George Carlin, Chris Rock and Jerry Seinfeld have done more to enlighten other people than 99% of psychology PhDs. People like you more when you are working towards something, not when you have it. The most valuable personal finance asset is not needing to impress anyone. Most financial debates are people with different time horizons talking over each other.
If you can explain something important in just a few words, it's a double win: You've probably found something that's obviously true, without needing further explanation or detail. And it's probably something you'll remember for a long time, easy to recall without having to memorize dozens of details.
