I didn't see myself as being a businessman long term and I didn't see the opportunity available. So I became CFO in 92 and still not seeing myself growing into the business thing. What happened in 93, I went to my boss and said, thanks for the opportunity. I think it's time for me to move on. He waited a little while, 30, 60 days. And then he came back to me saying, well, why don't you become chief operating officer and just run the company day to day? "It was an interesting education"
