The Different Types of Languages

It could be that the mind has the ability to abstract in many different ways. And one of them is the explicit language way. But my question is, is it actually a language of a certain type or is this more of a gradation because you can be talking about a wider variety of stuff? Once you get so context situations that there is just an impossibly large number of things to account for then it doesn't quite have the properties that the computer language has,. but only just because it's complicated rather than because it's impossible.
