Abu baca ordered two thousand boats to be equipped for him and his men. He departed with his men on the ocen trip, never to return. This story has long fascinated historians of west africa. Most likely, the fleet was wrecked during an atlantic storm. But this whirlpool may have also been the formidable canary current that flows down the african continent.
