Bitcoin appeals to people who are ast, have got an austrian economic orienta. It's harking back to the belief that money should be a commodity. The monetary system is just this bit of frippery you've got there as a veil over barter from the near crassca. I don't i think the the other ments of bitcoin could ever take over - particularly its energy consumption.
