You can see the difference between a ten year old bottle of, let's say, a macalin verse the 25 year old bottle. You can judge at which point you would want to sell it, because you can see that price difference. And then you can track it across the rgona cask with the year on year inflation that's put on with the year. A distillery will release a 10 year old expression, for example, of a whisky, but it won't stay at the same price. The value of casks doubled nearly overnight when royal brackler was rebranded by bacardy.
