The Importance of Sunday Mass Attendance
If I intentionally skip mass or exempt myself from Sunday Mass, that is a mortal sin. We are obliged to reveal all of those sins that we know. The Council of Trent states this: Christ's faithful strive to confess all the sins that they can remember. They undoubtedly place all of them before the divine mercy for pardon. But those who failed to do so and knowingly withhold some place nothing before the divine goodness for the remission through the mediation of the priest.
