The History of Women in Airbnb
Airbnb is a sharing community where you're allowing people to come into your home and live like a local. After the Civil War, our nation was decimated and we lost a good chunk of our male population. A lot of women were left without a primary breadwinner so they opened their homes to borders. Most of their homes become boarding houses.
