Kwame Kilpatrick was sentenced to 28 years in prison for crimes he committed as the mayor of Detroit. His earliest possible release date is August 1, 2037. He's attempted to get the courts to vacate his sentence because of a conflict of interest with his defense attorney. In October 2018, an anonymous donor contributed a $100,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest in the homicide investigation of Tamara Greene.
