How to Translate a Ramayana for Children
I wanted to translate for the older young reader, you know, like the 10 to 12 year old. I was also very sure with Ramayana that I wasn't going to cancel the ending of Sita's banishment. Children also read for pleasure and if you think that these are tales that contain morality that have a message, you tell your children. It's not my job to do this. So I'm here to give them a very, very, very accurate representation of what the big story is.
