How to Arrange Your Microphone for Voiceover
This is a Sennheiser 416 shotgun microphone. You see these in a lot of voiceover studios. It wasn't actually made for voiceover. Normally you'll see it like on a big boom, you know, guys got a giant pole. And then I'll have sometimes a big balloon thing over it and they'll be following actors down the street kind of thing. So it picks up audio from far away, but in a voiceover situation when you're right here, it's amazing.
