Is Freud Really Trying to Smuggle It In?

Freud would have to give up this conception of, allying ourselves with the ego of the person under treatment, right? Like that would have to be abandoned totally. And you would, analysis would align itself with the drive of the person Under Treatment. That's what Freud is trying to do in his work. He doesn't fully get it but on some level completely gets it. Otherwise how could he be implicit?
