Why an L2 Should Use an External Sequencer

Ben: I think it is important for rollups to consider what's good for users. Users prefer faster block times, and so one of the reasons I see kind of decentralized heat as a worthy thing. Josh: If overall the system is increasing, is better for users, and then, and it's more interoperable and thus creates more economic value overall,. Then there's a larger pie to share. Ben: Well, because we want to remain decentralized, you know, why would those soft commitments not be accepted into modular stack?Josh: The thesis is generally that people will accept these softer commitments if they can get them later in life.
