An average primary care doctor in the US makes about 220,000 a year. In Pennsylvania, we actually don't get close to that. We're actually underpaid compared to the mean. An hour of clinic time can be two hours of documentation. If we had enough primary care doctors, there would be almost no need for urgent care.
