The Super Ego
Froyd's theory of the super ego was essentially aggression turned against the self. The super ego fundamentally wants to beat you up, like a false priest who tempts you to sin. Strace says we need to modify it to make it less aggressive and daggressivize it. But i don't agree that the moral function can be transferred to the ego. Why? Because since david hume wrote in the eighteenth century, science is going to take over the moral control function. We're going to demolish the super ego, and we're going to have the ego. Parensy and alexander loed froyd were radicals. They were calling for a complete revolution
