Are We Going Back to Romantic Love?
We're seeing a return to cerial parbondin and marryig for love. Women are once again commuting to work. They're once again contributing at least often, a good 50 % of the evening meal. And because both male men and women have enough economic resources, they can walk out of relationships that don't work and then find new ones that do. But in our ancestry, were we more like gibbons? In our monogamy? Or were we morelike guerillas in polygony? 86% of world cultures permit a man to have several wives but only about five to ten per cent actually have several wives.
