The original term was used when the disorder was first described in the 19 fifties. As the disorder started to be studied more, and it was frequently in response to osmotic derangements, or hyper glycenia, the term osmodic demilination cindrum came into play. And then i guess the final term that i use is this chronic c p m, which sometimes in literature is called sem ic c p m.
