CFIUS and the National Security Regulations
Anyone who is putting money into the United States or receiving money from outside the United States is a potential client on the CFIUS side. In instances where there's potential non compliance we also conduct internal investigations and represent those clients before the relevant enforcement agencies. For both CFIUS and these national security regulatory regimes, there are reps and warranties that are sought by a party regarding compliance within these areas.
