The Night of the Long Eyes
In 1989 I had my anisoribolas when the interest rate went up to 15% and two largest state agency chains went bust, don't mean an awful lot of money. During that period the Chief Executive who'd been running my six furnaces had been less than straightforward and I had to prosecute him for theft. So it was a real salad to reless something you never forget, it was a very big fall. You never totally recover from it but you take, you put that in the memory banks and you say I'm not going to ever let myself get into that situation again.
