The Displacement of Intellectuals in Public Life

CNN's John Sutter responded to a recent article about the role of intellectuals in American life. He says there are many books and titles from the left that ask, where have all the intellectuals gone? The decline was evident in the early 60s when Hofstadter wrote his book Anti-Intellectual Women in U.S., he says. And so that's something that affects Christians, but it affects a whole world of people as well, Sutter writes.
