Rust is a new programming language that can be used to build and run programs on any computer. It works by bundling all of the dependencies into an executable file, rather than using command line tools like Python or Node. In Rustland, your program takes on the responsibility for ensuring that all of those opcodes are correct. So this is kind of like one of the most amazing topics I've ever been able to geek out on.
In this supper club episode of Syntax, Wes and Scott talk with Tim McNamara, author of Rust in Action about what Rust is, how to get started learning Rust, and ideas of good projects to begin learning Rust with.
