There sometimes is a modeling test where they'll give you some financials and they'll say hey can you build a model from scratch or maybe from a template? A lot of these firms will have their portfolio publicly listed on their website so getting sharp on what each of their companies does and maybe what you would like about the company and what you can view as a risk.
