The Decline of Nuclear Power
There is less electricity produced by nuclear today, John, than at any stage in the past 50 years. This is the first time this figure has fallen below 10% since the 1970s. But there is a massive movement, particularly now in China, to increase nuclear power. The US has the largest fleet of these reactors, which is about 92. And what you find, John, and this goes back to legacy and politics, is emerging economies are much more likely to be pro-nuclear than richer economies.
