Miglin's Name Has Semantic Meaning
Miglan is made up of two elements, mig that's m a e g, and it means sharp or piercing. And glin, which means gleam, particularly applied to the eyes, which is apparently translated here as glance. Now this all seems pretty strange to us in the modern western world where a lot of our given names come from ancient languages not spoken any more. But still, those two elements are still going to be clearly recognizable to any cinder an oaro.
