The Reversal of Leadership in the Kingdom of God

One of the most jarring counter-cultural threads woven through other New Testament is this theme of reversal when it comes to status and honor. Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, whoever humbles himself shall be exalted. Christ announced the theme of reversal as an integral value in his kingdom. We see who are first will be last and last will be first.
