Theology of the Body

In Matthew's gospel, it says, but from the beginning, it was not so. Jesus makes it incredibly clear that there is no room, no room for divorce and remarriage at all. He doesn't give any qualification. Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery. If you lack one thing, go sell what you have, give to the poor and you'll have treasure and heaven. Then come follow me then. Your salvation will be dependent on whether or not you follow me. Who can make a claim like that except for God alone?
