What Is Intelligence?
I actually think that there's more genuine intelligence in a worm than in GPT-3. I think the worm is more intelligent than this poetry-creating machine. There is a much deeper connection between intelligence and aliveness than AI proponents realize. This prompts us to ask what is intelligence? Let me just contrast some different ways to think about intelligence.
