The Mother of Innovation Is the Mother of Necessity

Capitalism in our modern era is extremely driven by the continual investment of technologies. This is what Marx talked about where the incessant need to constantly revolutionize the means of production, right? And so this is also not a new feature that technology, the forces of production, sit firmly in the middle of capital and capitalism as a system. But I think we have to be ready to abandon those ships because those, you know, the gig economy, Web 3, and now generative AI could very well become reality.
